How to play Aura Farming

Aura Farming is a one-on-one duel that takes about 40 seconds start to finish. There's nothing to learn and nothing to buy — you just need a camera and whatever it is that makes you you.

What is "farming aura"?

"Aura" is the internet's word for presence: the vibe someone gives off before they've said anything. "Farming" it means stacking it up on purpose. On here, that's literal — every match you win adds one point of aura to your profile, and the leaderboard ranks everyone by how much they've farmed.

Step by step

Log in with Google and pick a handle. Your handle (3–20 letters, numbers or underscores) is the only thing other players ever see. Your name and email stay private.
Turn on your camera. The Find a match button unlocks once your camera preview is live. Nothing is recorded yet.
Get matched. You're paired with whoever has been waiting longest. We avoid giving you the same opponent twice in a row when anyone else is around, and you're never matched with someone you've reported (or who reported you).
Connect. The video goes browser-to-browser. When both sides can see each other, a 3-2-1 countdown starts.
Farm for 15 seconds. A timer counts down on screen and the music plays. No audio goes to your opponent — it's all presence. Pose, stare, smirk, stay completely still, do the thing you do. Both browsers record the 15 seconds.
The jury deliberates. For about 10 seconds, seven jurors reveal their votes one at a time. Each juror votes for one player. Four or more votes wins. Seven is odd on purpose: there are no ties.
Result. You see whether you won, the exact jury tally, and who your opponent was. From here you can share your aura, report the opponent, or hit Next and go again.

Scoring

A win is +1 aura. A loss costs nothing. Aura never goes down, so every match is worth playing.
The leaderboard shows the top 100. Ties are broken by who reached that score first, so early wins matter.
Your public profile at /u/your-handle shows your total, your win–loss record and your rank, with a share card built in.

Walkovers and no-shows

If your opponent's camera never comes up, or they leave before the recording starts, you win by walkover and still get the point. If you're the one who bailed, they get it. If neither camera works, the match is scrapped and nobody scores.

Recording and safety

Every match is recorded by both browsers and stored for 7 days, purely so that reports can be checked by a human. Nobody except site admins can watch them, and only when a match is reported. If someone does something they shouldn't on camera, hit Report on the result screen or in your history. Reports lead to bans, and once you report someone you'll never be matched with them again. Tips from the top of the board

Light matters. Face a window or a lamp. Aura is hard to see in the dark.
Commit to a bit. The people who win consistently pick one thing — a stare, a pose, a slow head turn — and hold it for the whole 15 seconds.
Don't look at yourself. Your preview is in the corner; the jury sees you looking at the camera.
Phone in portrait works best. The layout is built for it.
